How do you grill juicy ribs?
Grilling on indirect heat at a low temp for a longer time also adds to the tenderness; the ribs breakdown, but doesn't dry out and get burned by being on high heat. Grill the pork ribs on indirect heat.
How do you keep ribs warm without ruining bark?
Finally, you may want to consider wrapping your ribs in a cooler. As explained in rib-and-cooler videos online, you ideally want to use some combination of foil, paper, freezer paper, and a towel when wrapping the ribs. The cooler then acts as an insulating agent.
Should I let my ribs rest?
How long to let ribs rest? At room temperature for at least ten minutes and up to half an hour. During this time, the heat trapped within the meat spreads out evenly, letting the cooking process end and making the ribs even more tender than before.
Which side of ribs goes down on smoker?
I always smoke mine bone side down (so the meaty side is facing up), for two reasons. First, I want the smoke to penetrate the bone side too, so each and every bite of the ribs is equally smoky and delicious. Secondly, if you cook them bone side UP, the juices will pool in the concave center of the bones.
How do you keep ribs warm on the grill?
If I want to keep them hot for a while, I wrap each rack in two cotten towels, place them all in an ice chest and close it up. For the "origninal" rub on the ribs I happen to use Texas BBQ RUB ORIGINAL. The ribs DO NOT dry out even if you leave them in the cooler for 2-3 hours, or more in some cases. Good luck.
How do you keep ribs warm for hours?
Double wrap in HDAF and then wrap that in a towel and stick in the ice chest just like butts...they will stay real warm for 3 hrs...or the warming tray of the oven works also.. Thanks Kim for the speedy expert advice.
