Whats the difference between cold brew tea and regular tea?
Traditional iced tea is made by steeping tea leaves in hot water first. Once the tea is brewed it is served over ice or chilled in the refrigerator and then served cold. With cold brew iced-teas you simply leave out the hot water part and steep leaves in cold water instead.
What happens if you boil cold brew tea bags?
Brew, Don't Bruise Never, ever boil water with tea bags in it. At the very least, you may singe the tea and make it bitter. At the worst, the tea bags will split or burst, creating a nasty mess. Instead, place a medium pot of water on to boil alone.
What is the difference between iced tea bags and hot tea bags?
The key to both is that you steep the tea for the proper amount of time before serving. Most iced teas are brewed hot to begin with, so steeping a teabag for at least 2 minutes will yield the highest effects regardless of temperature. Loose leaf blends might require anywhere from 2 to 15 minutes to steep.
Is drinking cold tea good for you?
Steeping tea in cold water has been shown to provide the same antioxidant and nutritional benefits in most cases. The exception to this is white tea. White tea has been shown to actually have increased antioxidant properties when steeped in cold water instead of hot.

That's why it's important to keep an eye on your other symptoms, and call your doctor if the white coating doesn't go away in a couple of weeks.
