Can you make hummus with a hand mixer?
A hand, stick or immersion blender works well for making hummus. I've actually tried it before with no problems. The main difference is that depending on the brand, a hand blender may be less powerful than a stand blender so the processing will have to be done gradually and might require more liquid to blend easier.
