Freshly made salsa only keeps for two hours outside of the refrigerator before bacteria begins to grow to dangerous levels. If the surrounding air temperatures are 90 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, the salsa only remains safe to eat for one hour before bacteria levels begin to rise.
What is the best salsa at Costco?
Mateo's Gourmet Salsa is wonderful, if we don't have homemade salsa, this is our go-to. Kirkland's Organic Salsa is priced really well and is also yummy. Costco has a really good selection of nut butter.
How long does Kirkland Organic Salsa last?
Does anybody know who makes the Kirkland Organic Salsa? It's my absolute favorite salsa, but it goes bad super quickly. It only lasts about a month after opening it. Due to the size of the bottles, I end up throwing 1/3 to 1/2 of the bottle away each time.
