How do you remove tomatillos from skin?
Simply drop the fruit, husk and all, into boiling water for 10 seconds and remove. You can then peel tomatillos easily by pulling off the papery outer covering and discard. The sticky film disappears in the hot water so all you are left with is a perfectly smooth, peeled tomatillo. Try it out and see how easy it is!
How do you clean a tomatillo?

Do tomatillos have a core?
If using raw, core the tomatillos with a paring knife as you would a tomato or simply cut the top off (but this wastes a lot of the fruit) and trim around where the stem attaches. Removing the core is not absolutely necessary, but the core can be a little tough.
How do you remove the husk from a tomatillo?
If the husks are shriveled, the tomatillos have passed their prime. To remove the husks, simply peel them back from the smooth green skin. Be sure to wash the flesh before cooking, to get rid of the sticky film left by the husks.
