Is it OK to cook lasagna in a foil pan?
Nothing wrong with wanting to port your dish to a pot luck in a tin foil pan. Who wants to ask for the dish back, and clean, for that matter. Personally, a good ceramic or glass dish is always the way to cook lasagne evenly.
How do you freeze lasagna in foil pan?
Line a glass or metal 9” x 13” pan with aluminum foil, allowing several inches of foil to hang over the edges. Wrap the extra foil over the top of the lasagna and stick in the freezer. When the lasagna is frozen through, you can just lift out the foil and use your pan for something else.
Can you line lasagna pan with parchment?
Place piece of parchment down on a sheet pan that has been sprayed with olive oil before building the lasagna. The paper does get in the way a little when it comes to serving, but I like not worrying about the bottom sticking so I work around it.

Why is lasagna better the next day?
There's a reason the existing comments here say "next day" lasagna is better, and it's to do with the gorgeous aroma filling the house. When you cook something which takes hours and fills your home with its smell, as pleasant as that may be, our olfactory system gets overwhelmed and partially desenitized to that smell.
Can I prepare lasagna a day ahead?
Here's what I love about it: You can make it ahead. The lasagna needs at least 5 hours to chill and let the sauce soften the noodles, but you can definitely make it the night before—even four days before—and bake it when you need it. ... Wrap it up in foil once you assemble it, no need to bake it beforehand.
