HOW TO STORE STRAWBERRY RHUBARB PIE. This pie can be kept at room temperature for up to 36 hours. After that, it's best to cover it with foil and keep it refrigerated. If it hangs around for more than 5 days or so, it's probably best to freeze it.

Technically with fruit pies you do not have to refrigerate and they are able to stay at room temperature for about 2 days or so. We do like to toss ours in the refrigerator and heat up as needed, but other than that, it is more personal preference on what you would like to do with your cooked pie.

If you have any well rotted manure then spread a layer around the plant but far enough away so as not to touch any emerging stalks.
